About the “private property” no pictures rule - do you know if the streets that go through Crocker Park are public streets, or privately owned by the Crocker Park development? Just curious. The law says you can take photos *from* public property of *anything* that is visible from that public property. Public property usually includes city-owned streets, sidewalks, tree lawns, etc. Though if all the streets, sidewalks, etc that go through Crocker Park are privately owned, the security guard can probably stop anyone from taking pics if he wants to.
